HInts, Tips & Useful articles

It's great to be offered a new job or university place, but it takes time and patience.  I learned from experience - what worked, what didn't, and then as a trainer in HR, teaching potential candidates AND interviewers the most constructive skills, and legal requirements.

Below are some useful hints, tips and information on how to maximise your chances of success:

Jobs, and workplace culture change all the time.  It's a good idea, before going for interview and if you live reasonably near a company, is to have a look at what people wear when they go in or leave the building a few days before.  You know you'll feel comfortable you look the part on the day.

Think about the long term future of work' e.g.  big tech companies have come in for a lot of criticism recently; how does this affect your career strategy?  Consider several career options - after all, most people have several different careers in their lifetime.  Don't concentrate on one route only.
